By posting this, little did Paula know how much she was inspiring me to finally get window treatments for our living room! I'm thinking of using some in a natural fiber Roman shade like the examples shown here (bottom three images) and combining it with
this great fabric from Hable Construction (top image) Since the fabric is pretty pricey, I think I could just use long curtains on the back window, and put the natural fiber Roman shades on the other windows, perhaps incorporating just a little of the Hable Construction fabric in a band along the bottom of the shades. Would that be weird?

I think that will look great! I love that fabric for the drapes. I've been thinking of using similar shades for our office windows, but it didn't even occur to me to add drapes. Love it.

Drool! Love the fabric on those twin beds! I really like the Hable Construction fabric as well. I covered my kitchen chairs in the yellow beads!

No, not weird! Great idea! I'm still struggling with window coverings after all these years. I made some very simple ones for my living room - a big doodle on cotton duck, hung by those black paper clamps on tiny screws, with more of the black clamps at the bottom for decoration. I really like them. Let's see if I can attach a pic...

H - is there a way to shrink photo file sizes on my little mac in iphoto so they aren't so big when sending to people?
