Jake loves to read, and I'm a big fan of starting off loving books early. After reading a few favorites about 500 times, I thought it was time to kick it up a notch and bought him a few new books, including Curious George Rides a Bike. He amazed me by pointing out that "EE-EE (that would be Curious George) no have tail!"
Did you ever notice Curious George was missing a tail? Could this be the hugest illustration oversight of all times??? Thoughts anyone?

these are some of our favorite books. Ha, never noticed the lack of tail.
Wow. I never thought about that. I need to introduce my lil' dude to George!
Yup, same here. We love the George books and occasional cartoon (supposedly teaches great early math concepts) but have never noticed the missing tail. I wonder if it's to make him look more kid-like? By the way, Jake is sharp to have noticed!
Wow! I never noticed that!! Crazy! You might like The Journey that Saved Curious George. It's all about how the authors and how it came to be.
